Mobile marketing might be the best way to reach consumers these days and to accelerate conversations with a potential consumer. We recently decided to jump on the band wagon, and signed up for texting codes with DriveBuy Technologies. It is a mobile marketing company that specializes in Real Estate. Soon, we will have signs at all of our properties telling drive by consumer to “text ____ to ____” In return, they will get a text message with a link to all the information about that property including photos, pricing, square footage, layouts, amenities and even a contact form to fill out for more information. If the user doesn’t have a smart phone to view the link on, they can check out the link on a computer.

The signs have the ability to show QR codes also, so that someone can take a picture of the code, and receive the information. An article in the Union-Tribune published yesterday talked about QR codes and how

“Consumers like them because they are easy to use and give immediate information on properties without the need for reams of paper brochures.”

One of the great things about mobile marketing in real estate is that they make it simple for you. It’s easy to set up the codes, the listings, the information, and it’s relatively cheap!

Mobile marketing allows you to easily connect with the person browsing your property and get in touch with them immediately. It provides on the spot information that they might not see from just driving around. You might say, ‘texting to find out information? What happened to the good ole days of flyers?’ Flyers might still be used, but who wants to actually get out of their car when they can just text…
